Our client is a large NSW government department located in Western Sydney They are now embarking on a large new project with a focus on DAM-digital asset management .
You would be working with the Program Manager, Project Managers and different stakeholders, to determine their key policy and processes, steps and elements, including any technical system requirements.
The Opportunity
This role requires an experienced & seasoned business analyst to manage the full e2e project business analysis cycle from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’ state and follow up implementation
Excellent opportunity to work closely with Program & project managers, business stakeholders, internal developers, and external vendor(s) if any through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrate both existing and new functionality to the business stakeholders.

The Role
Excellent opportunity for a senior business analyst with experience in DAM (digital asset management) in cyber field to become a Project Ambassador and get this new project going.
Business analyst able to manage the full e2e project analysis in terms of discovery. interviewing stakeholders, capturing business requirements, documentation of policy & process, outlining missing gaps, and working on project completing from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’ state.
Experience in digital projects working out business requirements, data requirements and data mapping, creating and documenting user stories and process mapping is involved.Able to document the business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows.
Working and collaborating with subject matter experts, vendors, internal developers, and testers. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills – be able to communicate with business stakeholders, vendors, technical analysts, developers, and other cross functional staff
You
10 years’ experience within the industry with 5 years as a Senior Process or Technical Business Analyst with ideally 1 or 2 projects recently in a government department.
Previous experience in digital/ DAM (Digital asset management ) /Cyber projects or similar in a government department would be highly regarded
At least one full e2e business project analysis systems integration/configuration/implementation experience
Excellent communication and excellent stakeholder management including writing user stories, work requirements and detailed process mapping
Strong experience in documenting business requirements and process mapping is required and samples of the same may be sought/viewed in an interview.
Previous background in development and or testing would be useful but is not essential. Some procurement vendor selection experience. Ability to interact, shortlist and select software vendors and platform providers would be a bonus
Degree or Diploma in IT with supporting qualifications in Business Analysis. Permanent Residency or Citizenship with Sydney domicile required
