Application Support Specialist

The Opportunity:

This start-up is tackling the payments industry with their innovative, modern payment switch technology, with the aim of changing the way retailers and banks interact and optimising the data through the payments process. Join a team of highly experienced payments experts, who have pooled their knowledge which spans across leading Australian payments businesses to create something ground-breaking in the payments world. They are looking for a Customer Experience IT Support Analyst to help support the EFTPOS payment systems for external customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship management, supporting external customers and working closely with internal teams and management
  • Ability to draw information and diagnose problems whilst managing communication and expectations to customers 
  • Act as the bridge between development, sales and operations teams to ensure the best experience for our customers
  • Work closely with DevOps and Development team, providing feedback on any observed technical issues or areas of improvement as identified

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Experience in a customer facing application support role 
  • Relationship building skills and experience
  • Experience managing a helpdesk or other ticketing system (Example: HEAT/FreshDesk/Jira Service Desk)

The following is preferred but not essential:

  • Experience in the following industries: payments, finance or retail
