About the Team

This role sits within the Reporting Services Branch (RSB) in the Support Services area of Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery (CTSD) Division. RSB is responsible for the delivery of recording, reporting and transcription services across NSW courts and tribunals. Flexible, agile and scalable service delivery is managed internally by and with RSB staff and is also supported by a panel of external vendor organisations.

 

Description

The Senior Contracts Administrator will be responsible for managing established contracts, as well as transitional arrangements for any new arrangements. This will include ensuring information integrity, negotiating changes/modifications and monitoring supplier performance to deliver outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations. The role will work closely with the client services and workforce planning areas and RSB senior management. This is a greenfield role.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive contract management plans, in accordance with sourcing documents, contracts and approved procedures, and monitor and analyse performance, addressing non-performance, to achieve the required contract outcomes

• Maintain the integrity of contract information and co-ordinate all aspects of the contract administration process, in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures, to meet organisational needs

• Provide expert advice on contract conditions and administration to procurement professionals, RSB staff and stakeholders to support informed decision making and improve future contract outcomes
• Establish and maintain appropriate stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimise risk, resolve issues as they arise, and maximise the value of the contract.

• Proactively identify, manage and advise on commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks associated with the contract, to enable the organisation to attain maximum value from the contract while meeting compliance requirements

• Manage transitional arrangements for onboarding of new contract panel members, as well as new contract arrangements (where applicable).

• Partner with staff from across the RSB providing high level advice and guidance to build expertise in contract management and improve practice and outcomes

 

Key knowledge and experience

• Knowledge and understanding of the NSW Procurement framework, procurement governance or best practice procurement policies.

• Relevant work experience in contract management, administration, legal, finance, project management or related areas
