Project Delivery Lead

  • Fully remote
  • 12-month rolling contract
  • €350-€400 Per Day

 

The role is a Technical/Project role, which requires someone with technical competence in one or all these technologies Infrastructures, Servers, Networking, Cyber, Application Support/Development, etc. if they have one, they must have an appreciation for the others. The role requires them to operate alongside the PM, managing the necessary technical streams in delivering the objectives, they would be responsible for understanding the business case, and the technical solution and defining the low-level design based on the solutions provided by the Architects. The candidate requires a knowledge domain related to data centers and infrastructure. Experience in liaising with test managers and soln/cyber architects would be good.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of multiple complex technical work streams across a variety of internal teams and 3rd party vendors
  • Working with distributed support and delivery teams including On-site near-shore or offshore
  • Input and manage the scope of requirements during the early engagement, development, and transition phases of projects ensuring that the needs, designs, and any other support risks and issues are managed appropriately
  • Build strong relationships across business units and with users to ensure effective, timely delivery of application services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to influence key stakeholders across the business to positively influence outcomes and correct customer service issues in support of the organisation’s strategy.
  • Strategic thinker with first-class organising and action-planning skills.
  • Demonstrable experience as an accomplished Technical Delivery Manager with a strong application support or development background
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects of work for large enterprises
  • Self-direction and innovation
  • Familiarity with Project & Product Management (Waterfall/agile) project delivery methodologies
