As the Networks Team Lead, you will oversee a versatile network engineering team responsible for network development, capacity management, and performance optimization. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of service provider networking and hands-on experience in operational support, you will lead the design and support of solutions across various business areas. Operating within a small, agile team, you will have exposure at all organizational levels and report directly to the Head of Engineering.
Manage end-to-end design, planning, implementation, and support of telecom network solutions.
Propel network development to align with service delivery and operational needs.
Act as the technical lead in large, complex projects.
Serve as the point of contact for escalating network issues from 1st or 2nd line support.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Core/ISP and Broadband Subscriber Network Functions.
Develop internal design configuration documentation, including network diagrams and technical explanations.
Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on existing products and contribute insights for new products.
Offer support, coaching, and training to team members.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive networking experience in a telecommunications environment.
Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams and overseeing large-scale technical networking projects.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Alcatel/Nokia/Cisco/Fortinet (routers/switches/Firewalls).
