Investor Support Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter, with a passion for finance and learning, to join a small and close knit team.  You will dive into the exciting world of investments in this entry level role and help shape the future of the Australian financial market.

As Investor Support Officer you will play a crucial role in providing professional service via email and phone to a diverse customer base, including market participants, listed entities, issuers, and retail investors. 

This position is open due to the promotion of the previous holder!

INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Be a friendly and professional voice, handling calls and cases with top-notch customer service for investors and other customers.
  • Champion investor interests by advocating for their needs during incidents.
  • Turn complaints into opportunities by managing feedback in line with policies.
  • Spread the love for feedback, boosting awareness and education within the company for a stellar feedback culture.
  • Embrace and drive operational efficiencies, making the Investor Support team and Customer Division run like a well-oiled machine.
  • Share your customer engagement insights and suggest cool ideas to enhance the customer journey.
  • Build and maintain awesome relationships with internal teams and customers.
  • Keep the CRM systems (Salesforce & ServiceNow) in tip-top shape.
  • Manage external communications and notice publications with flair.
  • Assist the Manager and Senior Manager whenever needed, showing your can-do attitude.
  • Keep the Investor Support Confluence page fresh and accurate with the latest policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience in a front line contact centre.
  • Demonstrated strong customer experience ethos.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (including de-escalation skills)
  • A strong customer-centric work ethic; empathy an advantage
  • Experience handling customer complaints.
  • Exposure to CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms.
  • Experience working in a team, as a key team player.

AND IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THIS, EVEN BETTER:

  • Sound knowledge of financial markets and financial intermediaries.
  • Experience within an exchange and/or trading environment
  • Understanding of different financial products
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or ServiceNow platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience using Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
