Azure Infrastructure Engineer 3 month contract

My client is a Financial Services business that is based in Sydney CBD and offering a hybrid working environment.

 

They currently have their infrastructure split between on-premise and in Azure Cloud. As a way of being more efficient, they in the process of reviewing their environment in order to make changes that will further utilise automation.

 

Therefore, they have a requirement to bring in a highly skilled Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer that will asses how everything is set up in Azure platform and then make changes/enhancements. This is hands-on role that would suit someone with extensive infrastructure background that has worked for several years on Azure Cloud so is across broad range of its products/features. 

 

Key skills required:

 

  • Strong Infrastructure & Azure Cloud background, working in senior Cloud positions.
  • Extensive Azure platform expertise, and Azure Networking would be hugely advantageous.
  • Strong infrastructure skills, predominantly in Microsoft. 
  • Automation experience, working with developers to automate infrastructure.
  • Experience working within small to medium environments. 
  • Good communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Financial services experience would be a bonus to understand APRA regulations.
  • Be available to work 1 or 2 days from Sydney Office per week.
