Help Desk Engineer

This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, customer service, and career development. Our client will provide a training and certification roadmap from day one, offering excellent opportunities for growth and learning.

Kindly note that you are require to be based in Limerick or within a commutable distance. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve Service Desk tickets.
  • Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Engage in regular client communications.
  • Manage daily client-specific tasks.
  • Maintain and update client documentation.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements and solutions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A 3rd-level Diploma/Degree is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
  • Understanding of core networking principles.
  • (Desirable) Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA, MCSA, CCNA).
  • Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and firewalls.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Client-focused mindset.
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented.
  • Passion for technology.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding and troubleshooting capabilities for computer systems and software.
