July was a festive month in the TRC office as the team participated in a month long "Christmas in July" incentive. The office was decorated down to the finest details and Christmas tunes played every morning to get the team into the Christmas spirit. As hoped, the team amped up their performance and ended up having one of our best months yet.
As part of the incentive, the team had the chance to win various Christmas presents throughout the month ranging from movie tickets to the highly sought after Quality Street box of chocolates. The entire office participated in a Christmas sweater day, ate mince meat pies (baked by our very own MD Simon Moss), and enjoyed a traditional Christmas feast.
However, the major prize everyone had their eye on was an all expenses paid weekend getaway to the Turon Gates resort located just outside of the beautiful Blue Mountains. To secure a place on the weekend getaway the consultants were put into teams and those that reached their team objectives were onboard.
Turon Gates promised the team's top performers beautiful rustic log cabins situated along a crystal clear stream with sensational mountain views and an afternoon of cocktails and a slap up three course Christmas dinner. The efforts from all members of the TRC team were fierce throughout the month of July and (finally) on September 7th, nearly half of the team set off for their weekend getaway in the Blue Mountains.
Drinks and food flowed freely as the team celebrated the hard work they put in throughout the month of July. Highlights of the day included the secret Santa gift exchange, Charlie's magic tricks, giant Jenga and the Christmas dinner cooked by the Managing Director Simon Moss and Operations Manager Jon Grant. The team awoke on Sunday to a cooked breakfast and while the drive home on Sunday seemed much longer after Saturday's festivities, all of those in attendance agreed that it was a night that they wouldn't soon forget.
