Melbourne Cup is a celebrated occasion every year. And getting amongst it down at the Opera Bar for the afternoon is a fantastic way to join in the fun. Heading down, dressed to impress, for a 1pm start, we had outside tables for two hours of champagne and canapés leading up to the big race. The guys suited and booted, the girls in spring carnival dresses..all on fine form. An office sweepstake saw our MD, Simon Moss, and Sales Manager, Geoff Millar, walk away with 1st and 2nd prize (Mmm..) with equal amounts of winning and losing on the horses across the board.
Live music, views of the harbor, fantastic canapés, cold beer and champagne, with a fair few Hendricks G&T's consumed in the sun over the course of the afternoon…what's not to love! Sydney spring at its best. The TRC team on cracking form and loving life! With the morning off the following day as our incentive for hitting 125% of target, the festivities went on well into the evening. Good times had by all. Definitely an afternoon to write home about.
