Did you know that 1 in every 25 Australians have the gene for Cystic Fibrosis? And that the average life span for a person with the horrible disease is only 37? And that they are so very close to finding a cure for these people?!
This was our motivation behind supporting, running and walking all different lengths of the Blackmore’s runs yesterday. Our team at The Recruitment Company was able to put in a great deal of effort, with 16 people participating in a run and our very own Managing Director, Simon, and consultant, Jodie, running their first ever marathons!
We were able to hit our target and raise $10,222 for this well deserving charity, hopefully assisting them a significant amount with the research that goes into finding that cure.
Celebrating our successful fundraising with drinks at the Opera Bar, an exceptional day was had. Well done again team! What an achievement!
