DevOps Engineer Azure

My client is a leading insurance firm in their specialisation that is based in Sydney CBD and offering a hybrid working environment.

 

They currently have a large backlog of tasks that will focused on Azure automation and Infrastructure as code.

Therefore, a highly skilled contractor is required to join the team in order to provide focus on these key areas to complete.

The pipeline of work is initially scheduled for 3-6 months but this could extend beyond.

 

Key skills required:

 

  • Strong DevOps background.
  • Extensive Azure Cloud skills, as well as using 'Azure DevOps' tooling.
  • Full stack Java\Tomcat experience.
  • SQL Database Management - able to code using SQL.
  • Experience working within small to medium environments. 
  • Guidewire experience would be great, but not essential.
  • Good communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Financial services experience would be a bonus to understand APRA regulations.
  • Be available to work 1 or 2 days from Sydney Office per week.
