About the Role
We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join a global household name in the FMCG space. This is a highly visible role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders, supporting the Commercial, Sales, and related business functions.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor, working with stakeholders from sales teams through to GMs, to understand their needs, challenge assumptions, and shape requirements into solutions that align with global platforms. This isn’t just about gathering requirements; it’s about asking why, uncovering the real business drivers, and ensuring what is delivered is practical, scalable, and adds value.
Key Accountabilities
- Translate business needs into tangible requirements in line with the project delivery lifecycle.
- Develop robust business cases in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Partner with global technology teams (SAP, Salesforce, and others) to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose.
- Support solution adoption, change management, and benefits realisation locally.
- Navigate a matrix structure, balancing global capabilities with local needs.
- Bring curiosity, initiative, and ownership to influence how technology can best enable the commercial business.
About You
We’re looking for someone ambitious and hands-on, who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. The most important attributes are curiosity, initiative, communication skills, and ownership, your ability to challenge, influence, and connect with people will matter just as much as your technical background.
Essential skills & experience:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Background in SAP and/or Salesforce (ideally both).
- Experience working in a large, complex, or FMCG environment.
- FMCG domain experience (preferred), Big 4 consulting experience or fast moving, large financial services organisations.
- Solid business process knowledge with the ability to translate needs into practical solutions.
- A proactive, curious mindset, comfortable respectfully challenging assumptions and finding out the why.
- Exposure to Portfolio/Project/Change Management methodologies.
- Experience working in global/matrixed organisations.
- Ambition to grow into Business Partnering or Project Management roles.
