Azure Infrastructure Engineer 4 month contract

My client is a Financial Services business that is based in Macquarie Park and offering a hybrid working environment.

 

They currently have their infrastructure split between on-premise and in Azure Cloud. They have an immediate need to migrate what is left in datacentre to Azure and require a skilled engineer to guarantee this completes in their timeframe. 

 

This is hands-on role that would suit someone with extensive infrastructure background that has worked for several years on Azure Cloud so is across broad range of its products/features. 

 

Key skills required:

 

  • Strong Infrastructure & Azure Cloud background, working in senior Cloud positions.
  • Extensive Azure cloud platform expertise, in particular can demonstrate ability to migrate from datacentre to cloud.
  • Strong infrastructure skills, predominantly in Microsoft. 
  • Experience working within small to medium environments. 
  • Good communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Financial services experience would be a bonus to understand APRA regulations.
  • Be available to work 1 or 2 days from Sydney Office per week.
