Sitting within the Digital, Delivery & Enablement (DDE) division, this role supports ORIX’s hybrid Microsoft environment and forms a key part of its infrastructure and security uplift.
This is a hands-on, senior technical role (not architecture or DevOps). You’ll balance 50% BAU operations with 50% small-scale projects — maintaining and optimising Azure and M365 services, strengthening endpoint compliance, and supporting key security and patching initiatives.
Manage and administer Azure services including VMs, NSGs, RBAC, and connectivity
Maintain Intune for device management, packaging, and compliance (MDM/MAM/Autopilot/Autopatch)
Support Windows Autopatch and transition patching to Azure Update Manager
Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, policies)
Implement and manage Conditional Access, MFA, Defender for Endpoint, and related Zero Trust controls
Troubleshoot hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AD, networking, identity, and endpoint)
Collaborate with helpdesk and business users to resolve incidents and document processes
Contribute to small infrastructure uplift projects within the DDE roadmap
We’re looking for a steady, hands-on engineer who enjoys variety and ownership rather than design work.
You’ll be someone who thrives on keeping systems reliable, secure, and compliant while contributing to process improvement.
You’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience across Microsoft infrastructure and cloud technologies
Proven Azure administration (VMs, networking, RBAC, NSGs)
Practical Intune / Autopilot / Autopatch experience
Solid understanding of patch management tools (Azure Update Manager, SCCM, WSUS)
Experience with M365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
Familiarity with Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, Zero Trust principles
Confident troubleshooting skills across hybrid environments
Excellent communication and collaboration with end users and service desk
Desirable:
Experience supporting ISO 27001 or NIST-aligned environments
Certifications in Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Modern Desktop (MD-102)
