Sydney | 24 month FTC
We’re looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions across a market-leading wealth management platform. You’ll ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards while leading complex implementations across cloud, integration, and legacy environments.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and client engagement, working closely with product teams, developers, project managers, and enterprise architects.
Designing and delivering technology solutions aligned to agreed architecture standards
Leading detailed solution and technical design across complex initiatives
Partnering with developers to solve design challenges and guide implementation
Working closely with clients on discovery, planning, delivery, and migrations
Ensuring architectural integrity across releases and resolving cross-capability issues
Producing high-quality solution designs, technical documentation, and estimates
Supporting pre-sales activity, fixed-price estimations, and solution proposals
Contributing to architecture knowledge repositories and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential
7–10+ years’ experience in a Solution Architecture or senior engineering role
Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
Hands-on experience with systems integration in complex environments
Experience designing solutions using Domain APIs and modern front-end frameworks (React)
Ability to clearly explain technical designs and estimates to non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience working directly with enterprise clients
Highly Desirable
SaaS product architecture and cloud-native delivery experience
DevOps exposure (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm)
Docker, Java, Spring Security / OAuth experience
Background in wealth management or financial services platforms
Architect solutions for mission-critical wealth platforms used globally
Work in a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture
Influence architecture decisions across major programs of work
Strong exposure to cloud, integration, and enterprise-scale systems
Australian-based role with global collaboration
