About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a range of strategic and operational initiatives across the organisation.
This is a business-focused, hands-on BA role centred around understanding business needs, improving processes, and supporting the successful delivery of initiatives.
You will work closely with business leaders, National Managers, Project Managers, Change, Product, Commercial and operational teams to understand how the business operates, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear requirements and practical outcomes.
A key focus will be mapping current-state processes, identifying inefficiencies and control gaps, designing future-state processes, and helping drive greater consistency in how processes are documented across the organisation.
This is well suited to a Business Analyst who enjoys stakeholder engagement, process improvement and working across different areas of a business.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and requirements
- Document business requirements, user stories and process documentation
- Analyse current-state processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, risks and improvement opportunities
- Map end-to-end processes and customer journeys
- Develop future-state processes and practical improvement recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to implement process improvements and standardisation
- Support the development of a centralised business process repository
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements
- Support scoping, prioritisation and planning across initiatives
- Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to support successful outcomes
- Support testing, implementation and change activities
- Contribute to PMO governance, reporting and documentation
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across different business units and levels of seniority
Essential Experience
- Approximately 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar
- Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Strong process mapping and process improvement experience
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state processes
- Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand complex business problems and develop practical, commercially focused solutions
- Experience working across strategic and operational initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
- Experience working within a PMO or project environment preferred
- Experience in Fleet Management, Novated Leasing, Asset Finance or Financial Services preferred
- Understanding of Lean, continuous improvement or similar methodologies preferred
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
- Curious, proactive, adaptable and commercially aware, with a strong focus on outcomes
