Business Analyst

This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping how business change is delivered. As Business Analyst, you’ll work at the centre of the Delivery function, helping to bring clarity, structure, and consistency to initiatives that matter, from process improvements through to strategic projects.

You’ll be working directly with senior leaders and business units across the organisation, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and uncovering improvement opportunities. Your ability to connect the dots, facilitate conversations, and translate business needs into clear requirements will be key to enabling better delivery outcomes.

It’s a role for someone naturally curious, adaptable, and detail-focused, who thrives on working across different teams and making sense of complexity.

What you will be doing

  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements by engaging directly with stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Map current and future state processes, identifying pain points, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of initiatives by producing high-quality documentation (requirements, user stories, process maps).
  • Support delivery teams in scoping, feasibility assessments, prioritisation, and planning.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • Contribute to governance and reporting by providing clear, structured business-side input.
  • Track and support realisation of business benefits and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Change & Engagement colleagues to support communication and training for new processes or changes.
  • Build strong working relationships across senior managers, national managers, and delivery leads to help align efforts and outcomes.

What you need to succeed

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a consulting role.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and interpret business requirements across multiple units.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement experience, including with senior management.
  • Adaptability and curiosity, able to dive into different business areas, quickly understand how they work, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Detail orientation balanced with the ability to connect dots across workflows and business functions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complexity into clear, structured insights and documentation.
  • Exposure to delivery environments (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and governance processes.
  • Commercially aware, outcome-driven mindset.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification.
  • Experience with process mapping, customer journey mapping, and improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Loop, or Azure DevOps.
  • Background in financial services, asset finance, fleet, or B2B environments.
