Network Data Analyst

My client is a leader within Australia's telecommunication industry.

Due to an immediate requirement in their network problem management, there is a need to bring in a skilled Data Analyst to focus on analysing patterns in the network, identifying recurring faults, and collaborating with technical teams and vendors to address hardware or environmental issues.

This role will be initially a 12 month contract with potential to extend for further 12 months after.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record working as a Data Analyst within large environments.
  • A good understanding of Networking: Cisco, Nokia, HFC, FTTP, FTTX, and some DWDM.
  • Experience with scripting (Python), building reports in Tableau, and working with SQL databases
  • The enthusiasm to use Data to identify reoccurring faults and ability to work with technical teams to remedy those.
  • Strong communication ability, both written and verbal to deal with various teams at all levels.
  • Ability to work from Melbourne office 2/3 times a week.
