Core Platform Manager

About the Opportunity

A leading Australian financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Core Platforms Manager to lead the operational oversight and strategic enablement of key enterprise platforms across Servicing, Finance, and Human Resources.

This is a newly created role offering high visibility across technology and business leadership. You’ll work closely with Heads of Function, Product Owners, and strategic vendors to ensure platform stability, transformation readiness, and alignment with compliance, risk, and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance enterprise platforms including Finance, HR, and Servicing systems (e.g. ERP, HRIS, Concur, TechnologyOne, Oracle HCM, KeyPay, Blackline).

  • Drive platform performance, upgrades, integrations, and vendor partnerships.

  • Lead implementation of a new Enterprise Correspondence Solution to modernise communication workflows.

  • Oversee platform financials – licensing, vendor contracts, run rate analysis, and transformation budgets.

  • Ensure platforms meet ISO27001 and internal control standards, managing risk, resilience, and audit readiness.

  • Represent platform interests across governance forums and transformation steering committees.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology capability with business roadmaps.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in enterprise platform management, ownership, or operations.

  • Proven background in financial services, fintech, or large-scale corporate environments.

  • Strong understanding of data migration, SaaS lifecycle management, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience managing platform budgets, vendor contracts, and compliance obligations.

  • Confident communicator who can translate technical outcomes into business impact.

  • Agile or project delivery experience and familiarity with ITSM environments desirable.
