Technical Support Lead (AWS)
Sydney | Hybrid | Up to $185k + Super + Bonus
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the operational reliability of a large-scale AWS-based platform, combining deep technical troubleshooting, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
- Lead and mentor a team of support engineers
- Own the day-to-day health of a complex cloud platform
- Investigate and resolve production incidents
- Support API integrations and partner onboarding
- Analyse trends to prevent recurring issues
- Work closely with engineering and product teams
- The role oversees technical support, integrations, analytics, and platform operations.
Tech Environment
AWS (CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB), REST APIs, SQL, monitoring tools, scripting (Bash/Python), Jira & Confluence.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting cloud platforms (AWS)
- Strong troubleshooting, API, and SQL skills
- Leadership experience or readiness to step up
- FinTech/banking/regulatory experience highly regarded
