My client is a boutique professional services firm delivering complex State Government programs is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support security assurance, vulnerability management, and third-party risk activities across enterprise environments.
This role will suit a detail-oriented security professional who is confident coordinating remediation efforts, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with key regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cyber security role with exposure to vulnerability management and/or third-party/vendor risk assessment
Experience interpreting penetration testing findings and coordinating remediation activities with technical teams
Proven capability delivering Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), including vendor security assessments
Experience tracking remediation activities and maintaining risk registers and security assurance documentation
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to prepare executive summaries and clear security reports
Knowledge of ISO 27001:2022, NSW Cyber Security Policy and the ASD Essential Eight
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications (Security+, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001) highly regarded, with prior NSW Government or Australian public sector experience desirable
