About the Role
We are seeking a hybrid functional and technical Business Analyst to join a major digital and data transformation program. The role sits at the centre of a large-scale initiative to redesign how fleet, customer, utilisation, and driver data is captured, structured, and delivered across ANZ, with expansion into 9 to 10 additional APAC countries.
This is a hands-on role working across business, data, and technology teams to define and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes. A key focus is understanding and improving current state reporting and data structures, supporting a replatform to a modern technology environment, and enabling a future-state, UX-led digital experience.
The work is greenfield in nature, building a new experience and data capability from the ground up. It is fast paced, highly visible, and requires someone comfortable working through ambiguity, driving clarity, and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups and regions.
The program operates in an Agile delivery environment, working closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, QA, and architecture teams across onshore and offshore locations. Strong engagement across APAC stakeholders is essential as the platform scales internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders across ANZ and APAC to define, challenge, and refine business and data requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Run workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews across multiple regions
- Analyse current state fleet, customer, utilisation, and reporting data to define future state models
- Support data discovery, mapping, and definition of scalable data structures and models
- Work with architects and engineers on APIs, integrations, and system workflows
- Contribute to UX and UI direction through input into wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys
- Support Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness
- Partner with QA and testers to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation including process flows, data mappings, and specifications
- Support UAT planning and execution across multiple business units and countries
- Help define how fleet and customer data is structured, governed, and consumed across markets
Essential Experience
- Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Agile environments
- Confident stakeholder engagement across senior and cross-border stakeholders
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and documentation
- Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and understanding of data structures
- Exposure to Human-Centred Design principles or broader UX/UI principles and ability to support UX outcomes
- Ability to challenge assumptions and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and storytelling
- Experience working across complex technology environments with integrations and APIs
- Comfortable working in DevOps-aligned, cross-functional delivery teams
- Understanding of Agile delivery practices including Scrum and Kanban
Desirable Experience
- Experience in Novated Leasing, Fleet Management or Asset Finance preferred.
- Exposure to low code platforms such as Appian
- Scrum Master experience or exposure to Agile facilitation
- Understanding of data models, data fabrics, or enterprise data environments
- Ability to work with UX tools such as Miro and Figma
- Experience collaborating with UX or product design teams
- Exposure to large-scale APAC or multi-country transformation programs
