My client is a leading technology organisation seeking an experienced SOC Analyst to join their Security Operations Centre on a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly integrate into an established team, independently investigate and respond to security events, and contribute from day one.
Key Skills & Experience
Demonstrated commercial experience working as a SOC Analyst within an enterprise or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment
Strong experience monitoring, triaging, investigating, and responding to security incidents across enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring technologies
Solid understanding of cyber security threats, attack techniques, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and incident response processes
Experience analysing security alerts, escalating incidents where required, and driving investigations through to resolution
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly become productive in a fast-paced operational environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Relevant security certifications such as Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CySA+, SC-200, or similar will be highly regarded
Location: candidates must be Melbourne-based
