Senior Azure Engineer

We are currently seeking a hands-on Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join a major transformation program within a NSW Government environment.

This is an initial 6-month contract for an experienced Azure engineer with strong hands-on expertise across cloud platforms, data and AI services, governance and identity.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Azure environments.

  • Proven experience across:

    • Azure AI Foundry

    • Microsoft Purview

    • Azure Policy

    • Azure Landing Zones

    • Azure Management Groups

    • Entra ID

    • IAM / Identity Governance

  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud governance, security and enterprise-scale environments.

  • Experience supporting complex Azure environments through implementation and ongoing operations.

  • Ability to work hands-on with the technology rather than operating purely at an architectural or strategic level.
